How to report
Email [email protected]. The quickest way is the Report an error on this page link at the bottom of every page: it opens an email with the page address already filled in.
What to include
- The page address, or the county and state.
- What is wrong: the field or sentence, for example the phone number or the portal link.
- What it should say.
- A link to the official source: the agency’s web page, ordinance or document that shows the correct information. We can’t make a change based on a third-party site alone.
If you work for the agency, say so and tell us which office you’re with. It helps us confirm the right contact.
Please don’t send permit applications, plans, payment details or other personal documents. We can’t process them; send those to the agency.
What happens next
- We check your report against the official source you sent and the agency’s current website.
- If the source confirms it, we update the profile. The change appears when the site is next updated.
- If we can’t confirm it from an official source, we leave the profile as it is. We may email you to ask for a source.
We are an independent directory, not the agency. A correction here doesn’t change anything with the permit office itself; for questions about your project or an application, contact the agency directly.
