Inspection lane
Submit the two-page application, one copy of plans and specifications, and a WV Flood Tool location map to Floodplain Manager Tom Cooper. Call 304-758-5155 to coordinate review and inspections. The Administrator may inspect during construction and later inspect permitted development for alterations; flood-hazard-area occupancy and permanent utility approval require a certificate of compliance based on inspections and any required finished elevation, floodproofing, hydraulic, or encroachment documents. Work must start within 180 days and finish within 18 months unless a written extension is granted.
