Regulatory framework
The code baseline for Coryell County.
Coryell County publishes no general county ICC building-code edition or ordinary building-permit portal. County permitting covers subdivisions, floodplain development, fence-row clearing, mailboxes, culverts/driveways, and utility excavation. The OSSF Order adopts 30 TAC Chapters 30 and 285 and Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 366, and imposes the stricter local rule that every OSSF construction, alteration, extension, or repair must be permitted and inspected regardless of tract size. Floodplain development is reviewed through the county Development Permit Application and Flood Damage Prevention rules.
