Minor-work playbook

No permit is required for structures 10 feet by 12 feet or smaller (120 square feet). Agricultural storage buildings or animal barns on parcels of at least 35 acres may be eligible for an Agriculture Permit instead of a building permit. The permit packet also states inspections are not required for agricultural buildings, oil and gas operations, and some utilities, although inspections may be performed on request; zoning, floodplain, fire, and other approvals can still apply.
