Regulatory framework
The code baseline for Reagan County.
Reagan County publishes a driveway/access permit for residential, nonresidential, and commercial access to county roads. Residential dimensions are set by the precinct commissioner; nonresidential access must match the adjoining roadway material, with published base, asphalt, width, and length standards. FEMA's community record identifies the County Judge as the county floodplain administrator, but the county website does not publish a current floodplain order, application, or general structural building-code edition. Reagan County is absent from TCEQ's current authorized-agent report, so the TCEQ Region 8 office administers OSSFs under Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 366 and 30 TAC Chapter 285 where no municipal authority applies.
