Regulatory framework
The code baseline for Jessamine County.
Jessamine County Code §150.01 adopts the Kentucky Building Code in full, designates the Jessamine County-City of Wilmore Planning and Zoning Office as the local enforcement agency, and extends the code to all single-family dwellings in the county. The current statewide framework is the 2018 Kentucky Building Code and 2018 Kentucky Residential Code, based on the 2015 IBC/IRC with Kentucky amendments. No newer 2026 KBC or KRC adoption was verified; separate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, floodplain, and storm-water requirements may apply.
