The State Fire Marshal may require compliance with the 2006 International Building Code for applicable projects, and commercial, industrial, multi-family, non-residential, and agritourism projects must obtain Riley County Fire District #1 fire-code compliance documentation before permit processing. Cities within Riley County may enforce their own codes inside city limits.
