Greensburg’s verified city code adopts the 2006 International Building Code with 2008 amendments and the 2012 International Residential Code with March 19, 2018 amendments. This is a municipal fallback and was not verified as a countywide Kiowa County code adoption.

Field sequencing matters
Code compliance is not only a plan-review exercise. Footings, reinforcement, framing, fireblocking, wiring, piping, insulation, weather protection, and life-safety systems each have points where the work must remain accessible. Build the inspection calendar into the trade schedule instead of treating it as a final administrative step.
